I can't tell you how many times I've assigned something to someone who already had a job, just to have them abandon their previous assignment to work on the new one. All I want is to be able to see what I have my settlers assigned to when I highlight them in workshop mode. I know I can work around it by having all my farmers wear this, my merchants wear that, my provisioners wear the other thing, etc. but I think it'd just make it a lot less complicated to just see what their assignment is when I have my cursor over them. Or even if I try to assign someone to something when they already have a job, a box or something pops up that says '______ is already assigned to _______. Are you sure you want them to ________?'

I know their assignment also gets highlighted, but that only helps if the settler and their assignment are in the same sightline.

Maybe I'm just stupid or lazy, and I'm sure you'll all confirm this for me if it's true Just a thought I had.
