small things I want to see

Post » Wed Sep 01, 2010 10:43 pm

be able to dispose of bodies MW style

more interesting npc conversations

better body dragging

be able to cap speed.. my character runs too fast and it kinda kills immersion.. even though ive put no points into 'speed' attribute I still get faster. I dont wanna be sprinting everywhere.

be able to stack same type weapons (ie merge 5 iron daggers into 1)

option to delete spells

a keyring

be able to drop quest items.

sleep in 'owned' beds if the owner is dead.

hopefully have non respawning containers in houses so that combined with previous point, we can make any house into a home.

be able to use the small rowboats.

wait takes longer than an hour to recover full health (MW style) rest can be interrupted by critters.

I agree. Many small things in the gameplay need to be fixed. About disposing a body, maybe there should be an option to vaporize the body Crysis style, like they vaporized Aztec at the beggening of the game to keep the KPA from stealing nano-suit technology, maybe some kind of spell or something.

Body vaporizing? In Skyrim? ....ewww. Terrible idea.

I agree with the option to delete spells option because after creating your own spells there was little need to keep the generic spells. I did read somewhere that they changed the running/walking by making the character slower when moving backwards instead of having the same fast pace for all directions of movement.

burn them good

freeze them, smash them into little pieces then burn those little pieces

cut them into sizable chunks and feed them to the wolves

drop them into the ocean

incriminate another guy for their death

take your pick :P

I want to dispose of bodies by dragging them to a swamp or tossing them in a river. Vaporization doesn't make much sense unless you had some kind of fire spell you could use..

Hmmm, only problem I see is that you might not want to permanently delete spells becuase you might want them back later...

If you delete a spell you may need later, then you've made a mistake that you probably won't make again -- if you make it again your an idiot.

This 'problem' does not outweigh the benefit of having a more streamlined spell list.

It may sound a little morbid but I found it amusing to pick up an unconsious body and and throwing it into a canol or river in the game Thief. I would like to see that in Skyrim.

be able to cap speed I didn't like it either, I almost ran as fast or faster than my horse. Maybe if running actually drowns your stamina bar, you won't be able to run everytime for as long as you need it.

option to delete spells I think it would be better to have a "favorites list" or something. Your could add whatever spells you use to it so you don't have to browse those 30 spells every time. I'd like more filtering options, I mean, sort spells by type of damage (fire, cold, etc) or something else, and not only by range (touch, tarjet, self) as it is in oblivion.

a keyring yes please!! well hopefully we'll have one in skyrim, just as they implemented it in fallout 3 :P

sleep in 'owned' beds if the owner is dead yes please!

(I speak spanish, sorry for any mistake)

Then what would the point of buying houses be?

After downloading a mod that made corpse moving easier I actually did that in Oblivion. xD

On the one hand you're right, in Oblivion you run really fast. On the other hand in Morrowind you run sooooo slowly.
Something in between would be nice.

No to both of those; yes to everything else.
