I'm wondering if a mod similar to PeterBitt's http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42306/? mod does, except with books. It's a terribly little thing, but I think they would look nicer if they were a bit smaller.

I feel like such a mod doesn't exist, though; PeterBitt made potions smaller simply by scaling down the meshes. But potions are generally all found standing upright; I'm afraid that with books, scaling down the mesh will cause some books that were placed upside-down (an issue that doesn't matter *unless* you alter the size of the mesh) to end up floating, and causing all sorts of weirdness. And then you'd have to make a plugin that adjusts the positions of any wonky books; which y'all know better than I do is a crappy undertaking for a number of reasons.

If there's some sort of clever way to downscale them without too much floatiness or other anomalies that I'm not thinking of, please tell me and I'll probably try the effort myself. Scaling down meshes doesn't sound too difficult, even for a novice.
