I <3 this. Wouldn't look out of place on the walls of one of the rusty vaults ingame. Great work!

very proffesional looking...

I showed this to one of my room mates and she had never seen the Vault Tec boy but thought it was impressive never-the-less.

I especially appreciate the slogan...well appropriate!

95% awesome. The other 5% makes me ask why the Vault Boy wasn't rusty or faded at all. That would have completed the look.

Much appreciated! Yeah I have considered making him rusty, but im a bit apprehensive about doing it because he took me hours to paint and im worried i might mess it up! But I still might though because it does bother me slightly that hes too clean :unsure2:

Wait, you painted him too? Wow, he looks like you printed him out and then painted around him. AMAZING job again! yeah, if he looked fadded, maybe even worn off in some places/edges/etc. It would look 100x better. He sticks out. [again, not to diminish the great work]

I was going to say precisely this before I scrolled down to the end of the page!

:intergalactic: <--- Also, what's up with these guys? I just randomly spotted them over there, on the edge of my posting screen in a little box, and I totally don't get it. T_T I feel like I must live under a rock.

:turtle: <--- Also, I found a turtle. This cheered me up.

Anyways, enough of that. Great work! Can't wait to see more... even if it's just a touch-up of the last thing, with Vault-Boy looking a little more worn and scratched and the like!

^_^ Cheers!

:really laughing out loud: You said the same thing as me, almost word for word!

Yeah! I painted it all apart from the text, thats just printed out and painted over. Thanks again for all the positive comments! I think your all probably right though, I should make him look rusty and worn. I could always do another painting of vaultboy in a clean sort of style anyway.

Ive got another painting that relates to the fallout theme, but not directly related to the game. Its only a quick painting i did for a college course, but thought i would share it anyway. The text on it is just random quotes taken from the average joe on the street in the 50's.

The style has a subtle uneasiness to it. Very fitting for the setting of Fallout.

Nicely done. :goodjob:

That would look on a gamer's wall, or a wall in-game. Well done!
