Damage, degration, use of ammo and weight are unimportant.

The damage bonus of the CAR allows it to wound enemies quicker in combat so I vote CAR for all. The accuracy is also on par with the SMG at close and short ranges. In hectic situations the CAR prevails because of the combined accuracy and damage but ammo capacity brings it down but not by to much depanding on the weapons condition.

Overall I say CAR is your best bet. Also Assault rifles are 100% inferior to the CAR in combat.

I use CAR and only CAR (Xuanlong even) in all possible scenarios above. The other two are only useful for home decoration.

The CAR is a great weapon, but I prefer LR or a hunting rifle for precision longer range shooting so I rarely even pick one up. I love the SMGs, however, and when I play a SG character always carry one. I especially like Sydney's SMG.

um, it seems that some misunderstood me.

this poll isnt about personal preference, its about experience. what shoots the most accurate, makes enemies stagger and such.

not "i vote CAR because i like it best" or "i prefer a hunting rifle for long range". i haven even mentioned hunting rifles, wtf?

No guns have any real stopping power in F3. Unless you count crippling limbs, but I don't count that as stopping power.

All the full auto weapons (save the Gatling Lasers) are woefully and unrealistically inaccurate at even moderate distances, but in my experience the US AR seems to be the most accurate.

People are simply stating they're believes and opinions. How are you going to ask someone which they prefer but deny them the right to explain why? That makes no sense... :shakehead:

i never asked for preferences, im asking for experienced facts. accuracy isnt relative, either it hits exact or it doesnt.

Both the Assault Rifle and the Chinese Assault Rifle have the same spread. The smg is the worst. The chinese is more powerful, but the Smg is better for spray and pray situations.

but the FACT is that peoples preferences actually mean alot. If you prefer not to use the assault rifle then obviously your accuracy with it will svck since you've never fired a shot with it. Also accuracy is relative because if your looking to splatter a ghoul from far away your not going to pull out an SMG, you'll use an Assault rifle or CAR

Perhaps the next time you are requesting feedback you should write very clear guidelines for responders so that they are exactly clear on what it is you want. I cannot really talk about accuracy of weapons in the game without comparing it to the most accurate weapons in the game (those with zero spread or close to it). The CAR doesn't come close to being that accurate. That you aren't just going to the wiki to answer these questions and running testing for yourself with your own character speaks volumes. You should consider yourself lucky that we aren't laughing you out of the forum for needing to ask the questions. But we are generally very polite that way. Maybe you should follow our example.

i would do it myself if my xbox wasnt broken DURR

and since its in the repair shop, i kill some time. and now you are pissy because you missed the point. it was about those three weapons, and if they differ, because the wiki is wrong sometimes.

and honestly, you sound offended lol

grow a pair. its the internet,

Oh yeah, I forgot. We're all uncivilized [censored]es.

Suddenly, civilization doesn't seem all that great.

No seriously, there's no reason to be a [censored]. You asked a question, and you got a wide variety of answers. The correct answers can be found on the wiki, and if they say the spread is the same, it is, but these answers, the ones in this thread, come from people with experience with the different weapons. They might have the same spread, but they don't act the same.

because people werent giving me information. they just spoke about which gun they like and hunting rifles and such.

is this so hard? im asking for objectivity.

also, if somebody gets asspain i wont hesitate to point it out. just because i tell people they might misunderstand me and note that this isnt about hunting rifles, i get a whiny agressive comment back.

Only one of your three questions have a possible fixed answer. The other two are purely based on personal experience.

no, accuracy and enemies staggering have a notable effect (or at least i thought staggering has)

people talked about what they like and what not or dont giving any ?nfo at all. only useful advice cam from Flat toe cory, mentioning that the SMG can be used for "spray and pray".

Closed as flamebait. Arguing with your responders makes the moderators think you made the thread for the purpose of flaming people who don't agree with you.
