Smithing books question

Ok, so with the release of SKyui 5.0, the new crafting menu got rid of the catagories and just dumps everything into one big list.. which kills my computer with how many weapon/armor mods i have.

so i looked for a mod similiar to the old Lorecraft, but that was more recent. i did find one, but it just did the vanilla+dlc stuff. I was considering making one, that did that as well, but that also did the larger mods i have. (Immersive weapons/armor, Tera weapons/armor/etc)

my idea was...

1 book per material, and each book placed in a specific spot around skyrim (example the Iron book in Riverwood, Steel at the skyforge) for the vanilla stuff. for the mods it would be 1 book for everything for each type (just so its fewer books to place).

question is tho.. would it be that hard? would it just be creating the books and then placing that as a requirement on each recipe?

I would imagine that adding another condition function to check for whether you read a book to each recipe would slow the loading of your crafting menu even more.
