Smithing your way to the top.

So, I leveled up Smithing quite a bit but I noticed a few things early on that kind of take away from the realism.

First It isn't about what you smith. It's about how much you smith. The amount of XP I get from smithing Hide, or smithing Dwarven isn't any different. Witch seems odd, because you would think you would haft to smith your level of materials to level it up efficiently but I'v come to spamming Hide bracers from wolves, bears, and saber cat pelts I come across and it level quite frequently. 69 at the moment.

Another thing is, I don't come across ore deposits enough for it to be useful to me to level up my smithing. I come across just enough to make what I need, and nothing more. Every once in a blue moon I'll come across a huge mine or something with like 10-20 Ebony or, something along those lines. But it still seems a bit scarce for the most part.

It's not game breaking, and I'm not complaining about it. I just found these things odd. Found it even a bit funny. When I spam hide bracers I usually just stash 'em in a barrel or some random persons desk. the Jarl of Windhelm has like 500 in his kitchen.

You think Smithing could be improved a bit? I think it could use some tweaking. Sadly I play on the PS3, so I can't mod it in :sadvaultboy:

I thought the same thing....smithing iron daggers gives the same amount of experience as smithing daedric armor :\
