What if I tell you, every character can stealth, not just khajit and bosmer.. and not just nightblades.

No I get that, but they have their racials that increase their stealth radius.
No. Cyrodiil is a huge place. Pick your routes. I had a scout mission extremely deep in enemy territory with geographical bottle necks in the way. I got there by riding and sneaking as appropriate. It's just part of the game.
There is no trouble as a solo player getting around Cyrodiil. There's not someone stealthed behind every bush. If there's a battle then no doubt there will be stealthed characters of every class at key points. Good strategy. It's up to their opponents to get past them with their own strategy.
Cyrodiil is a dangerous place. That's what makes it fun.
Nah, just wanted to make sure as it almost sounded like it
I wont argue with you on making stealth use up a skill slot, I just disagree
But I can offer a solution to counter stealth archers, namely by using the distance they attack you from against them -> if you immediately use stealth after the first shot hit you, you will become invisible as well and the attacker will have to go to your last known location to find you, during which time you can either plan a counter attack or simply sneak away - the detection eye only stays open preventing you from sneaking, once you launched your own attacks
Edit: and to answer the question of the guy who opened this thread -> you will have a minor advantage in stealth when rolling a khajiit, but nothing to worry too much about, infact focusing too much on stealth can be a disadvantage too
There is no 'problem' and there is no 'fair'. Just your unwillingness to try and deal with it.
It does not apply to typical reinforcement routes to battlegrounds (keeps/outposts) and areas around PvE dungeons... Sure if I use remote traveling spots, like around map edges, and some other areas, I can travel solo and even dance around while at my keyboard...
I guess I could pull out argument after argument and put more of my time to create the best presentation in the world's history and trying to convince people , but eventually it will be a waste of time on my part, because people even if some might be a bit ignorant to the balance issues, there are also others that will disagree for the sake of disagreeing...
Agree with tagos, why everyone has to be so scared of anything that actually gives them a challenge? This kids nowadays want everything to be easy and predictable.
Mage light gives you 10% critical chance on magic abilities when morphed, tell me that is a waste of slot
Dude stop crying nerf because you can't kill someone easily or they're using tactics and killing you. I'm sick of people complaining about [censored] not going their way.
I know right? Why would a "stealth class" be better at "stealth" than any other class in the game. Crazy thought I guess......
Or, if you are travelling to a destination, go with a group(a coordinated group preferably). If you are just trying to get somewhere, by yourself, realize that you are a single person in a dangerous world and either sneak around or accept the fact your gonna get ambushed occassionally.
I had no problem being attacked by players that were in stealth while I was on my horse, and I did the same thing to other players. It's part of PVP. Why does everyone have to always have EVERY single aspect of PVP on an absolute even playing field?
In huge group PVP, we were always outnumbered and we won a lot more fights than we lost this past weekend but we never complain about things being that way. We love the challenge.
My biggest problem is that as a melee I felt completely and utterly countered by ranged, even with teleport strike (I played a Khajiit Nightblade because I had a dream about it before I got into the BETA). Ranged seems to just win, hands down, without even a struggle, and that is exceptionally frustrating.
Nightblades already are better at stealth than anyone else, you can use the invisibility to go under stealth after combat,it is way way easier re stealth after a combat with this, believe me,I have tried both and I had very hard times restealthing after combat with a sorcerer
That invisibility lasts all of 3 seconds and if people are on you, you're still in trouble. It's not that great of a skill for escaping if you're up against smart players.
Mine was only 2.5...did you get a talent to make it go longer?
Restealthing works nice when you use enviroment, trees etc, with another class is really hard to restealth even using walls.trees or rocks. If you want to scape, chain invisivility for 10 or 12 seconds of invisibility ,of course at the expense of your magika bar,it works.Just choose wisely the direction you are going.
There is a talent that increases the duration of all skills in the shadow tree,it makes it a bit longer and its passive
2.5 seconds of stealth dude. This is hardly an escape procedure. If anything, its a drop player aggro power when others are around.
I think it would be viable if they add an active "vanish" like ability without making it overpowered, like costing 60% of your magika bar.
15% max bonus fully spec'd = 2.9 seconds of stealth instead of 2.5. Wow, thats really OP..........
I did fine with my nightblade,I am happy with it,actually requires skill to restealth.I am happy that everyone has stealth too.Too bad for the usual mmo stealth ganker that this time has to work to not being ganked back.
Yea that's a good tactic. Just depends on the situation.
