Sneak Sight + Friend of the Night

I might be alone in this theory, but it seems to be the Hazmat Darklight Cowl and the Riot Gear Helmets (Regular, Advanced, Elite) are kind of bogus. They look cool, but they don't actually enhance your visibility in any way, they just add a color tint. However, when you combine the Sneak Sight off the Riot Gear Helmet the Red Hue and the light Green/Blue tint of Friend of the Night create a black and white effect that GREATLY enhances low light visibility. I have yet to test this with the Advanced or Elite versions of the Helmet, or with alternate versions of the game (playing on 360 myself). Not sure if this is a glitch, but it is a Godsend for a stealthy Courier.

Cool, I might try that out (The riot gear greatly increases my sight in dark areas)

Im pretty damn certain that the Elite riot helm's sneak vision is much better than the advanced and normal riot helms. at night for me on pc the elite's night vision is almost greyscale, though its screws up in heavy radiation areas and makes it harder to see because of the [censored] excessive bloom

Interesting. Perhaps the Elite version shares a filter with Friend of the Night. Now I'm really curious to try out the Elite version with this perk. Could someone test this please, that way I don't blow out my eyeballs when I'm finally high enough level with this character to get the Elite version? Want to make sure I'm not overkilling the sneak sight before I reach the point of no return with this character!
