Sneaking and pickpocketing easy way to level them up

Post » Thu Mar 20, 2014 1:20 am

I made sneak legendary whent to white river watch (not far from whiterun) and there is a blind guy sitting in a chair sneak behind him back up against the wall and rubberband your controler and let it stay there it leveled my sneak up from 15 to 70 in less than one hour.

The same blind guy makes a GREAT!!! way to level up pickpocketing start out by finding necklaces and/or rings of pickpocketing (or what ever they are called) LOL. equipt them

SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE you try the next step!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pickpocket this guy by placing less than 100 gold on him and pickpocket him if you get caught just restart the game. As your skill gets higher you can place more and more gold on him and pickpocket it back keep going you will level your pickpocket skill real quick

OH one thing though if he ask you who you are just answer him that it is the guy he is asking about. :D

I just cant spam the controller like that. It's one thing to collect all the materials you'd need to level smithing. But I just can't do it. It just doesn't seem fun to me that way. Isn't that why we play the game?

I agree with Daedric_Dovah. I could not do that, especially to a blind person. I can level it just as easy by sneaking everywhere instead of standing up and walking and running. Besides, I may do a legendary on destruction and illusion, but not on sneak. There are 2 many dungeons where my sorceress loves to sneak in.

I got to 100 in Sneak all naturally by sneaking everywhere. Unlike OB, there is no penalty for doing this so why bother with a grind?

Like Daedric-Dovah, I decided to grind Alchemy but got bored out my gourd an gave it up as a bad job. I never found the ingredients I wanted to make the potions which I needed. Instead I made the same potions over and over which I just sold. It was beyond boring.

I did get Smithing to 100 naturally but the difference was that I made useful and valuable items on the way so it was rewarding - unlike Alchemy which was just a grind.

Here is a link to my potion list. To raise alchemy, just use salmon roe and chicken egg or salmon roe and Nordic barnacle. Each potion you make raises you one level, sometime 2 levels, if you are really low in the alchemy tree.

Thanks Ashley. I had no idea about this exploit or your list.

Not sure why you're doing it this way when you can level it much faster sneaking around tombs backstabbing draugr.

I made my sneak and pickpocket legendary without any of that [censored]... I enjoy working up to high level.

On my thiefy characters, I tend to use Silda the Unseen's pickpocket training services- then immediately test them on her by taking my money back. Can gain 10 levels easy in one trip.

For stealth, I do what others above have suggested, just sneak everywhere.

Alchemy is the most frustratingly grindy skill in the game- the one skill where you can level by making essentially useless things. "Oh look, a potion that restores Magicka, but Is a Poison that damages Magicka Regeneration AND it fortifies Barter Skill! I gained 2 levels and someone will buy this for 250 Gold!"

That would be like smithing a sword with two hilts that has a spoon sticking out of the side. Brilliant!
