1. Have a good backup weapon ready -
If you're not dug into a spot where you snipe from, keep the other weapon ready,
wasting bullets in a blind panic is much more accurate with a secondary firearm.
2. Spend no more than 20-30 seconds at your spot -
This is very important, this helps lower the probability or being detected and if you're not finding anyone, you may think you run less of a risk - but are you REALLY helping your team?
3. Take your shot and leave -
You know when you've been sniped, and you know exactly where they are, you will most likely hunt him down. However, if you take your shot and leave, they could go to your last location, and you'll be able kill them as well.
4. Stay away from sniper commonplace -
The first place you'd look at are spots where people could be counter-sniping from, e.g Pier 17 top floor boat, Skyline glass house roof, etc. Try and find unique places that hide you well, but don't obstruct the view. You may be surprised that height may not as matter as much as you think it would. People ten to run around open areas cloaked, so it's best to catch them off guard.
5. Silence your shots -
The sniper is one of the weapons whose power is not affected by the silencer, so as long as you pace your
shots and aim carefully, they won't know what hit em until it's too late. Use it, it's free.
