Snoop Dogg DLC Coming to Call of Duty: Ghosts

Post » Wed Apr 16, 2014 5:27 am

To be fair, Ice T didn't even know what he was going to be recording, as they'd never told him what the book was until he got there.

Now, if they used someone like Bruce Campbell or Ron Perlman, I would perhaps consider. But I don't play Call of Duty these days.

I'd link the story but every article I can find contains bad language and I don't want to get in trouble.

Oh, I know, but I have to wonder why in the heck someone would have thought to ask him to do that in the first place.

Pretty sure it was just a book set in the D'n'D world. Like a Warhammer book.

Ever heard the song http://youtu.be/IdWB_u_FqmU? That's basically about it, it's nothing more then signing about cop killing, guns and drugs.

Bruce Campbell in Ghost would be perfect because of the Fog map, that would be perfect to play as Ash Williams going around using a double barreled sawed off shotgun as your main weapon and the chainsaw as your melee.

Mixing two already repulsive things to creative an extra repulsive thing... must be a trend.

Oh but how wrong you are! If you think that is the only thing there is to rap then you need to listen to more rap, and actually listen to the lyrics.

Groups like

Army of the Pharaohs

Living Legends

Atmosphere

Immortal Technique

"Guys, I have a new marketing idea for DnD." "Oh yeah? What is it?" "An audiobook, set in the DnD universe where we can engage the listener in a fantasy world of roleplaying bliss." "Better get Ice T right on that!"

God this stuff is hilarious.. I bet you anything that they get multiple rappers and pop stars to do the voice overs for the next COD game and announce it as day 1 DLC.

There isn't really a better way of illustrating the overall difference between games than the guest voice actors they get.

TES has Patrick Stewart and Sean Bean. COD has Snoop Dogg.

I can already imagine it as the announcer says "WHOSE LAUGHING NOW?!" in his voice. :disguise:

Hey, if they get Terry Crews next, that might actually get me to try out COD. He's not a rapper but I love him anyway.

Ice Cube did the mp voiceover for the S.O.G. in Blops and 50 cent did it for the SEALS in MW2, so famous people doing the voiceovers isn't totally new.

And the post tends to be a one liner as well.

I would complain, but it at least generates some discussion, even if it's from other people.
