I have no expansions and I get the error that says can't find snowflake mesh When I run in compatibility mode for xp sp2 it tells me can't find font 0.

That's usually a symptom of having MW installed in Program files x86 in Win7. Win10, I'm not sure about. What's your OS and where is MW installed?
