Theres a Fort Snowhawk near Morthal
Couple of places that were in Arena provide the names of forts in Skyrim

they probably figured they had enough cities already but couldnt leave the place out entirely so they came up with this

The Gladatorial Team names are from way back when Bethesda were planning on making Arena an arena-fighting game, so any reference to Gladatorial teams aren't relevant anymore.

If there is a Fort Snowhawk, then for roleplaying purposes i'll just assuem the city/town that used to be around it was destroyed in the two-and-a-bit hundred centuries since Arena. My PC went there on the journey to Hammerfell. And Winterhold. Should be good for RP fodder. Unless we have better information I may assume for my roleplay that it was destroyed in the Oblivion Crisis?

that would be a good assumption for your RP, but it doesn't explain what happened to places like Sutch. if Sutch was really a city in Arena then enough time would not have passed betwen it and Oblivion for the whole city to be reduced to one ruined fort that looks like all other ruined forts that are supposed to be from around the first and second eras.

I'm a fan of Snowhawk myself, but with hundreds of years passing between the first and newest game, I can see how some cities or places would have faded away. If the Jarl died without a proper succession, the others might have seized this or that. At this point in TES history, it wouldn't quite make sense for every city from Arena to still exist as a center of power. Some with odd names like Orcrest might be better phased out.
