So far I've re-installed PS3 Op-Sys, deleted & re-installed Game Data, adjusted my modem settings and even deleted and re-created my user accounts (all seperately and together)

Sorry mate I dunno why yours does that I've never had that issue. I think my broadband provider is BT and my Nat type is moderate. Not sure what else to recommend. Have you googled optimising ps3 online gaming

Yes I've done that, includings etting the MTU. I think I've decided it's Orange, so gonna go change
