sold my elderscroll : V

I searched but couldn't find any topics on selling your elderscroll and if you need it later in game to say maybe banish someone. so my question is this do i need to reset my game to continue with the scroll or enjoy the 2k i got from it =S

WHY WOULD YOU EVER SELL AN ELDER SCROLL IN THE FIRST PLACE?!??!?!?!??!

Even if I was playing a evil to the heart thief I don't think I'd sell an Elder Scroll.
