Solders need to stay out of my Bandit Camps

I've lost three camps to solders taking them over after I clear them and they reset. :stare: Fort Greymoor, Fort Kastav, and Fort Greenwall. Kastav was a mage camp so I wasn't as disappointed, but what the heck guys, clear your own forts. I want my bandit camps.

Your dead! DEAD!!

Bandit camps get taken over by soldiers as soon as you start the civil war. Which I have no plans on starting any time soon as I like clearing them out of bandits as a werewolf :)

weird. I've cleared out forts with bandits and they always respawned with bandits.

Most seem to. I still have Kastav and Greymoor this game because I learned from previous games that they will fill with solders if I clear them, so I just go after whoever is outside and don't go inside. Greenwall got nailed this time. :shrug:

I guess that's the key then. Don't completely clear them but leave the ones inside alone. Maybe that's why mine stay free of soldiers. I don't clear them completely.

Yup, that's why. Clear them completely, and the soldiers move in. (I personally think this is a good thing. I hate that I can't pass Fort Kastav or Dunstad without stupid bandits/skeleton/mages coming after me. Annoying is what it is. There are enough other dungeons as it is, I never clear a dungeon twice on the same character anyway unless the game sends me there - but I honestly don't think that has ever happened.)
