Soldier Build?

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 3:29 am

I did a soldier RP and I greatly enjoyed it. I used the Gary glitch in for OA to get the winterized combat armor, helmet and assault rifle the stocked up on as much 5.56 ammo as possible. After that I moved to DC and roleplayed my soldier as a recently unfrozen person in a vault for science who escaped and still thinks its 2077. He goes to DC and thinks its under a massive terrorist attack and that the Super Mutants are mutants used by the chinease or whatever to attack. He fights his way through the ruins of DC and finnaly clears all the mall and winds up at underworld where he nearly starts a huge fight but is educated on what he has missed.

I greatly enjoyed that Roleplay. Little inspiration for the "RP" part.

The perks were fixed ages ago and the bug itself was PC-only.

Standard combat load for an infantry man is 8 X30 rnd magazines (+1) in rifle. 4 grenades, and maybe 2 mines. Of course, when going into the [censored], they carry around 10-12 mags (wherever they can store them). Also, an average grunt only carries a rifle, no pistol. For RP purposes, carry 4-6 purified waters, 3 or 4 food items and a couple of medicines. Combat armor/helmet only..... and a hustler magazine.

NOTE: Also, with the new tactical vests they have, I think they can carry a few more mags...I served 15 years infantry, but that was 10 years ago...

And as a double posting... Your stats should be around average, there are few musclemen & few brainics...just average joes...although there are exceptions.
