I have read the bible and I am wondering if there is any more info on the armor buff because first I heard it was from soldiers then it was from engineers .

Engineers can toss out a Kevlar Plate, which reduces damage you take by about 15-20%, I guess (it would make sense for SD to do that to counterbalance gun buffs).

Dunno about Soldiers handing out armor buffs, though.

Pretty sure one of the Soldier passive abilities is an armour increase.

This is correct.

The Soldier can have a kevlar vest.
The Engineer can toss them around.

Yea we don't know specifically what the soldiers does. Maybe it lessens damage from explosives? That would make sense.

Probably doesn't get him knocked down from standard grenades.
