They'll probably be equal to other classes in most respects. I just hope that leveling is slow enough that it feels like actual leveling.

If not I'll be ogling all the weaponry for a while.

Wasn't there speculation or something that the soldier could get an ability ti give out incendiary ammo? That would be like a damage boost and it would help the team and probably give more XP.

Brink is designed as a team based game. Being a soldier 100% of the time is most likely not the best way to help your team so of course it may not be as rewarding as working for your team

They mentioned the Soldier was giving out Armour Piercing rounds in one video, and said it gave a damage boost - I've heard about the incendiary ammo as well, and from reliable sources, but there hasn't been official mention of different ammo types anytime recently, so I won't say 100% that they're still in.

Hope so though.

That's working under the view that a "soldier" is just a soldier in the most basic sense. SD should have called them something else since clearly everybody works as a soldier and the actual "soldier" class is just as skill set specific as any of the other classes.

They make great tactical support units with their variety of grenades and ammo handouts.

Apparently playing both campaigns will only get you to level 14.

Officially incendiary ammo is in last I heard, that is to say they haven't said anything about removing it so I assume it stayed
