Solstheim character build

I was thinking of creating a character based around the whole Solstheim theme/Island/DLC. What are your thoughts on that?

I was thinking:

Race: Dunmer (what else?!)

Type: mage/summoner (ash shell, ash spawn, ash guardian, etc)

Major skills: Conjuration, Destruction and Alteration

Enemies are more dangerous and high value loot it easier to find.

My current charcter went to Solstheim straight after being told to speak to the greybeards (which I didn't do) and only came back to Skyrim to take an item to an Altmer in Falkreath. After that my character went back to Solstheim and will probably stay there for the rest of the RP.

You could RP a Redoran guard, Skaal (my current RP), miner, Neloth's servant/slave/test subject, hunter, adventurer that doesn't cry about an arrow in the knee, Dwemer researcher and more.

Any race is suitable but Nord and Dunmer are the main races that live there.

Any race really.

Redoran guard are pretty fun, have an Orc one. A netch hunter comes to mind too. I'm more than certain there's way more things, but none come to mind right now.

The enemies are way tougher there though, so if you're going to go straight to Solsthiem, so it's going to be tough, however it's very easy to find very good lot and get a lot of gold.

I quickly lower the difficulty on my Solsthiem only characters, I experienced quick one hit kills when I was exploring on my level 2 mage.
