Some bandits dont attack me when seen?

Post » Sat Dec 07, 2013 8:34 am

its weird, the only bandit type that attack me are the first tier bandits. the weak ones. the rest just stand their like their normal town folk. its kinda bothering me. anybody else had this issue? is there a fix?

Some times they give me some kind of "each my step" warning. I forget the exact words though.

Yeah. Sometimes I'll approach a bandit camp and they will give me some kind of warning while not attacking. But if I just attack first while they stand I still don't get a bounty. I'm guessing first strikes on bandits are ok by the law. :D

Perhaps you have a mod dealing dealing with certain bandits.

did you add yourself to their faction or use a mod?

I know when I use the bandit intro for Live Another Life, the bandits at the camp I spawn at are always friendly.

It sounds like you've unknowingly joined a bandit faction or something similar. I'm guessing it's likely some mod that's causing it. I sometimes use the console or batch files to join the bandit faction so I can use fort Graymoor or Valtheim towers as a residence, with guards..

It's because the stronger and more wise bandits honor the Dragonborn, as should all citizens of Tamriel.

I do believe some Foresworn do become friendly to you if you side with them escaping the mine. Not all just ones in certain locations if I remeber right.'

And I too have had bandits give me a warning. "You don't want to come any closer" or "you don't want to be here". They will attack if you move closer or attack them first.

they do, the Druadach Redoubt Forsworn will no longer attack you if you side with the Forsworn in the quest "No one escapes Cidhna Mine".

This mos def sounds like mods, I had pacifist dragon priests that gleefully floated around while I obliterated them until I fixed my load order.
