So as some of your already noticed, I'm posting here questions once in a while as I'm learning my way through Oblivion and Elder's Scroll. It started to feel a bit 'spamish', so I decided to open a single thread and just keep is alive once I have questions instead of open another thread in few more days
So I have been playing for a while now as I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the game. I have no idea why I haven't try Elders Scroll games before (I mostly a fan of Japanese RPGs). Some questions I have that I couldn't find good answer for:
1) I'm considering myself a veteran gamer but somehow I'm having hard time with Oblivion in term of difficulty (50%). Too often I find myself fighting 3 or 4 demons (the quest in Kavatash castle) and have to use the Quick Load/Quick Save more often than I wish. I'm playing a Melee Warrior with with Shield and I I recall correctly both my strength and endurance are somewhere around 80 - which should be enough based on previous posts. Am I'm missing something? Or this is how the game suppose to be? hard? I'm using Realistic Leveling by the way.
2) Gear - in most games I played the gear is mostly obtained from loot rather than Vendors. Is it the same on Oblivion? I was un-able to find anything worth-while on Vendors, but I was thinking perhaps I'm checking the wrong vendors and maybe gear is the reason the game is so hard for me at the moment.
3) I noticed each Vendor has a different skill level. Is the price difference between them is big enough to aim for a specific vendor when buying/selling stuff?
4) I'm not sure how am I suppose to use Back-Power-Attack. When holding the mouse button and clicking back, I keep 'moving back' and missing my target...
Thanks!
