It is very good that we have a great gamesas page /forum.Wha i am curios is that we will have a real page and forum in future with maybe more black (this white hurt my drunken eyes)Avatars and all the stuff are welcome i think and if gamesas is incharge from 2007 a great page we will like to see.But the most important thing is that we will need to have for project 13 (aka fallout mmorpg) a new page and i think at the right time when gamesas will announce that the game is in production to have a special and only site for Fallout online with :Forum/Screenshots/Concept Art/Newsletter/Reviews/Press Releases/Art & Illustrations/faq...and many more and of course huge advertising. I think before they make a complicated website they have to get off their feet first. They're re-releasing some stuff through different channels, but once V13 launches or they announce anything else they're working on they might get make the website better. They have to make stuff for stuff on the website to be about that stuff.

Chris said they are still very early in the planning and concept stage. Web pages don't really start appearing until around middle of the development cycle. Maybe sooner depending on how much advertising and hype they are trying to focus on the game. I don't know about you but I would rather have no web pages for 2 years and find a perfect game in 3 then getting 100% hype and a crappy game. Image

gamesas will need to make a huge advertising to the game even from the begining in order all fans to know about that the game will become a mmorpg. It is critical thaht the huge amount of fans of fallout to know earlyer about it from a good site.Look at starcaft 2 page and diablo3(its in the earlier stage of prodiction)and you will know what i say and an awsome page will atract even more the look and hype the game.To have let's say in the last year of development a great site is nonsense i think and i hope it wont hapend like that.As for me i wait/hope in 2009 spring maybe to have a realy awsome (fallout mmorpg only)page. Yet again that takes time out of development man hours to have them talking with the web team. Just so the web team can build and maintain current information about the game. Also to do that they have to increase the size of the current web team that takes money(something gamesas needs most). To be honest rushing the web page and badgering Chris wont solve anything. Image

I really don't think advertising will be much of a problem. Fallout fans are fairly up to date on Fallout productions. With gamesas coming back together, and the success of the 3rd Fallout title in sales numbers, it should make for a good boost to a Fallout MMO.

For many, just the chance to jump into the wasteland as an MMO will be a fun option and I'm looking forward to it. While I always look forward to initial screen shots, write ups, etc., a quality game should and will have to come first. The MMO market is very competitive now, and they will be focusing on how to compete within that realm.

I do fear however that turning a vast wasteland into an MMO will certainly lose the barren feeling that you get from how sparsely populated the other games are.

What I fear is that a lot of fans of the new Fallout 3 could be alienated if it's made like the originals (from what I've seen on the forums, that would be no bad thing for gameplay). I'd be betting to wager a large amount that a lot of people who've played Fallout 3 have neither played nor cared for the originals, so may lose interest becuase they'll be frustrated at the mechanincs. I'll admit right now I never understood the rules for D&D; I just went online to find a power party. Now you know my shame! A massive thank you to EA for:
- Producing great quality games time and time again
- Providing excellent technical support
- Never destroying any highly acclaimed studios for profit
- Never ripping people off
- Never wasting people's time
