Okay so to clear up that title, something happens that is far from dangerous, to the point where I don't want to see a doctor cause its not worth it. But I still want to know what this thing is so was hoping someone knows; google is useless.
I have this tiny, pin-[censored] sized scar on my cheek. Dont know where its from. But once or twice a year, i'll do something and it opens up again. When it does it starts to bleed...a lot. Like for several minutes this extremely small wound will ceaselessly bleed. it'll soak through cloth in seconds, and if i held my hand under my face, it would be covered in blood in a few moments. otherwise it would stream down my chest.
And then, ten minutes later, it stops. and then makes a small scab, heals, and doesnt bother me again for at least six months. This isnt a bleeding problem in itself - i get minor wounds and they bleed the normal amount, and heal without issue. its this one single, tiny little thing that just bleeds so ridiculously heavy. And I don't have a clue why! This amount of blood is more than basically every other injury ive ever had put together.
Like I said from the description, this clearly isnt an emergency or a medical problem I'd need treatment for. Its just something that gets to me. the last time it happened (after about a year of it not doing so) was a week ago so its fresh in my mind. So yeah.
If anyone knows what it might be, or why its doing it, That'd be great. Im mostly just curious at this point.
