Some Ideas On Custom Classes!

Post » Fri Dec 03, 2010 2:27 am

Hey guys/gals i just recently finished playing Fallout 1. I RPeed (lol) as a computer technician type character (even though there wasn't that much tech in the wastes to tinker with) My character had Science, Repair, and Small Guns tagged. I tagged Small Guns just because i didn't want to struggle at the beginning. :P Later on i tagged the energy weapons skill cuz it's high tech and it suited the character class i was roleplaying more than small guns. So now i wanted to see if anybody has any good ideas for a class to RP for Fallout 2. Here's some of my ideas...

Wasteland Surgeon - Doctor, First Aid, Melee Weapons
Hunter - Outdoorsman, Sneak, Small Guns
Scav - Repair, Outdoorsman, Small Guns*
Assassin - Sneak, Throwing, Melee Weapons
Hitman - Traps, Small Guns, Sneak
Brawler - Unarmed, Gambling, First Aid*
Ranger - Small Guns, Melee Weapons, Outdoorsman
Thief - Steal, Lock Pick, Sneak
Trapper - Traps, Melee Weapons, Barter

* May change this skills for a different one (any ideas?)
I'll post some more in a while...

My all time favorite Fallout 2 build was my unarmed specialist Law. Unarmed (obviously), Speech and Doctor. With a few perks he could talk his way past many problems and fight his waoy out of the rest. I've actually gone back a replayed this character a few times. I'm thinking one day I'll adapt him into an evil character and change his name to Law Les

Why gambling? Just curious, I never put points into it. Though almost every character I make plays craps at Beckys for the extra cash early game, the craps table doesn't look at Luck or gambling skill. I chose doctor because unarmed takes a lot of damage getting in range on a big gunner. Sneak is also very useful.

Well i'm not choosing the skills the i'm gonna need the most, i'm choosing skills for rp purposes. So i was thinking about a drunk, bar brawler that goes to casinos to win, if he doesn't then he'll just kick the dealers [censored]!!!

EDIT: maybe i can put first aid with my brawler class. He should be good at healing his minor wounds after getting into so many fights. :bonk:
