Cool stuff man, thanks, I hadn't paid much attention to the smaller pictures before.

I like the looks of Whiterun and Riften. Can't wait to explore them.

great finds here

Aw, shucks. :turned:

Of course. It just dawned on me while I was re-exploring the Skyrim hub on Game Informer to do this.

Ditto man. I'm really suprised to see no one has commented on how awesome the Sabre Tooth Cats are going to be. They look like a cross between a lion, a bear, and a wolf. That's probably my favorite piece concept art in this video next to the Giant Spider Larva.

Agreed.

Just like the raiders in Fallout it's a strict dress code for bandits :)
Side note wonder if they take equipment from fallen enemies? In Fallout 3 I once run into raiders in power armor, they had taken a enclave outpost and used their armor, some had armor other had helmets.

To the Fallout 3 Raider's credit, there was multiple types of Raider armor, but same issue. I don't really have anything against the "Respawning" shallow enemies, it's just that it's so odd seeing every bandit, even supposedly rival factions, in the same attire. At least if they gave them territorial-based "Bandit armor" skins, it would make more sense, and at least remove one layer to the disbelief, since it creates a semblance of some organization. I mean, Crips and Bloods don't wear the same stuff, right?

I'd still rather see "General Issue" bandits used as Overworld populators, rather than dungeon populators, every dungeon involving NPC's should be hand-crafted to the finest detail, to give them that "Lived in" feel. Animal/Daedra caves don't need that kind of detail.

If anyone was wondering, yes. I still have the video screens I got the art from saved. Here they are:

I wonder if the town at dusk is Windhelm or not? Seems pretty big.

That's a shrine for one of the Nine Divines. Here are some better views:

It'll turn out to be similiar to the http://i56.tinypic.com/9la1ol.jpg of http://i55.tinypic.com/34jdvme.jpg we've already seen. Matt Carofano actually explains it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_4w5lT-DiUE#t=3m12s in the video.

I've updated my list with the addition of ten more pieces of concept art from an entirely different wall.

I never really look at concept art, people get so riled up on the really cool designs and wonder why some of them don't get put in the game. I guess their fun to look at though...

it really looks like they are going to improve the clothing/armor. when i played as a wizard character in previous games, i always hated the selection of robes that they had. it seems like the robes (and everything else) are going to be much better.

Shows us what they're trying to accomplish. For instance, I see a cat in http://i54.tinypic.com/nlubt0.jpg. We know they're considering cats in Skyrim. :o

Is it just me or does Whiterun look a lot like Rohan?

What I wouldn't give to have some of these as my wallpaper.

I've gotten a little tired of having parts of Alduin's Wall cycle over and over again on my desktop. I've been dying for something more...colorful...

Is it just me or does Whiterun look a lot like Rohan?

You know, I had that same idea. And I wouldn't mind one bit to be honest. It's fitting.

Sorry, I prefer the people I'm killing to be... well, people, not clones of the Republic Army, thx.

I actually really like the Bandit Armor look, but I just think this whole procedural enemy generation ruins the weight of taking a life in the game. In Morrowind, you killed someone, they had a name, their own belongings, and their own house/cave/whatever. Even though the attacked me, I still had some pangs of guilt, because I had removed that person from the world.

You have a very good point.

I can't wait to see the dancer in-game and the daedric armor looks awesome.
