Of course my preferred solution to the problem is never buy expensive cars with top speeds you really will not be able to use 98% of the time (lowered due to the autobahn being relevant in this case

Whats the average speed people drive on the autobahn?

Like 70-90 mph or what is it in kilometers?

On the autobahn? Try more like 100 MPH. And that's going slow. The "advisory" speed is 81 MPH. The average speed on the autobahn, according to Wikipedia, is around 90 MPH. But, in the unrestricted zones, you can go as fast as you want to go / what your car is capable.

You'd be surprised, most people that own a supercar probably spend more time at their local track, than on the roads.

Same crash rate, but the accidents are way bigger, involving more cars, bigger domino effect.

Maybe if said girls are also so stupid they'd do things like that...

But yes, I think it's highly likely that he was indeed speeding, I'm surprised they got out with only minor injuries too, given the state of the car, it's a good thing they were alright, though, especially considering I could easily see it being much worse (For the people, I don't think it would make much difference for the car if it was wrecked more.)
