So, some questions about lore, story , etc [spoiler]

I finished Morrowind and I've got a lot to ask, especially to veterans. I'm going to replay it once again, this time going slowly and learning\reading from everything :)

> [CHIM] What does Chim mean? Why wasn't I able to find any stuff concerning it?

> [Nerevar's kill] Am I the only one thinking he killed Nerevar together with the others and tried to atone by doing good deeds, only to find that it was pretty worthless, given the fact that he was doomed ? Also he is split in two, so it kinda makes me think that he surely did a lot more evil than it is implied.

> [Nerevar's ashlander stuff vs Temple's official view] It seems to me that Ashlanders were right while the temple's official view was twisted in benefit of Vivec. All these books seem to narrate lies, but are there definitive proofs? I've even heard of people telling that in some vivec's book if you add all the different letters from the starting words you can get 'foul murder'. Is that true?

> [Azura's choosing] Did Azura choose all the other people you find in the cavern of the incarnate? Judging from their story, it seems also that some didn't know they were 'chosen'. So, did they receive the vision of azura or not?

The short version:http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:CHIM

Many different versions non of which are completely true or completely false. If you ask Dagoth Ur he will tell you a different version than Vivec, etc. The Ashlanders will have a different Version than both. And all have similarities.

The Temple Version is obviously biased to favour the Tribunal it's THEIR religion.

he wasn't really doomed until Dagoth Ur managed to drive them away from the Hearth and it was a serveral thousand year long benelovent rule so I wouldn't call it worthless.
