Is this a joke?

Seriously amazing looking environment, I do hope it will run smoothly, well programmed on PC.

If you have not seen these, here you go.

Thanks.

Nice to finally see these in better quality. One thing that slightly bothers me is the Fallout-style green-tinted water. There's nothing green there that would be reflecting that shade in the water, and the streams in Skyrim shouldn't look irradiated...

Maybe there's moss and algae type plant stuff in it.

Otherwise looking good, especially considering these are probably still 360 screens.

Mhm :)

It may be a little off topic but did you guys have seen the trailer of Dragon's Dogma on the Game Informer's free digital edition ? I especially like the way the character can jump, grab the gryphon and climb on it! I'd love to be able to do that in Skyrim and fight a dragon mid-air while riding on his back! :woot:

One screen. Anyone know what that thing is on the floor next to the last Draugr on the left?

A dead Draugr.

Also I hope Draugr's aren't the only things we see in dungeons.

do you realize that there is green tinted water in the real world? no from reflections or irradiation...but from moss, muck or stagnant water. You should take a break from video games to learn about the real world..

The first pic: The weathering on the rocks looks unnatural, but the draw distance on the brush looks very promising (I assume these are 360 captures). Not all that impressive really.

#2... Wow!

C. Flood-light terminator action movie. Ambient light anyone? And what's with the hard-on for veins? Do these things actually pump blood through those? They're dead right?

Thanks for posting these OP. I know I was a bit critical, but none the less very impressive work by BGS.

I'd hate that. Different type of games entirely.

It's so cool that even non-human enemies will have beards. :)

Also that water in the second pic is so awesome! it looks kinda dirty and murky. Everything is just such an improvement on oblivion. I'm so happy.

All look better than I could have expected. The Draugr screenshot in particular really impressed me. Look how clean the textures on the Skeletons behind the Draugrs are. Also did anyone notice the bow on the Draugr's back? Bows can be visibly seen holstered while another weapon is equipped it seems.

Oh my god! I just noticed there's a draughr behind the one getting hit in the third screenshot! look, it's like he has four hands that one of them has an arrow and a bow.

What's in his right hand? (The Draugr with the bow) An axe?

A SPEAR?

Hope that is at middle of the road or low graphics. I don't know about anyone else, but the landscape images looked like they were out of focus. Like you were focusing intently on something at a medium distance away from you so that everything in the foreground was slightly blurred, and everything in the background was slightly blurred.

Maybe there's moss and algae type plant stuff in it.

There is, you can see it growing on the rocks. It's a little too bright green though. It would look right if it was a deeper green, like http://www.seabunny.net/picts/Karangahake%20Gorge%20(DSC03911).jpg. I know for a fact that that river is about the same depth as the screen image suggests.

Well, Todd DID imply that you can ride a dragon. I don't think we'll be able to do it your way though... the ESRB probably wouldn't like the bdsn aspect of it.

Nice attention to detail in the stream shot... look how the earth is shaped to suggest a high-water mark, and small tree roots protrude from the left bank.

The hut on the hill is beautiful. You have to admit its not that impressive graphically, but the sparse art direction and brooding tone of the game is really beginning to show, I cant wait to walk those crags.

The draughr you were talking about, the one getting hit. The one of the right. There's draughr behind him. He has an arrow in his hand and on the other side he has a bow. Not clear if it's equipped or not.

Seems like a mighty thick arrow. Could it be...a... nah.

Sorry to disappoint you... I don't think it's a spear... it's best not to get your hopes up... plus, it's only logical to think it's an arrow since he has a bow on his back/equipped.

But yeah, you have a point, it seems a bit thick to be an arrow.
