Main shots not officially released

These are not scans, they are from the GI digital preview of the magazine, which is free for 3 days.

If you have not seen these, here you go.

Thanks.

Edit 1:

Direct links, cheers LS.

Edit 2:

Dragonborn 2nd muscle screenshot (like the first, but from a different angle - not officially released)

http://img846.imageshack.us/img846/879/skyrim04.jpg

Please note: The screenshots here that I have taken are a tiny bit blurry (not my fault). They were originally intended to be a resolution
of 1280x720 but for some reason were a little under after cropping them EXACTLY around the edges. They have thus, had a tiny bit
of resizing, but look pretty much the same as they originally did anyway.

These appeared in a magazine earlier in the month, but these are substantially higher quality. Thanks for the link! I must say, the water in that stream is visceral beautiful. Much nicer than what we saw in the lake shots, if I say so myself. I wonder if this means we'll have different bodies of water in the game with varying coloration/murkiness instead of everything being the same pristine hyper-chlorinated blue pool water of Oblivion?

I as well have seen these before...but not in this glory!!

Nice find.

Off topic but I love taking screenshots from games, especially TES, and finding the exact places in-game. So basically what I'm getting at is I can't wait to find that exact location of the first screen posted.

One screen. Anyone know what that thing is on the floor next to the last Draugr on the left?

First one - the rocks look like they need a lot more texture to them, although I guess it's a low-res screenshot.

Second one - bit bland, but will probably look nicer when you're actually in the game. The water looks great though. I really hope there are some forests with much, much taller trees.

Third one - My god what a bright dungeon. I hope it's deliberately lit up to show off the Draugr and not like that in-game.

Lighting aside, I like the Draugr one a lot.

The other two are hard to judge because the quality is poor.

Nice to finally see these in better quality. One thing that slightly bothers me is the Fallout-style green-tinted water. There's nothing green there that would be reflecting that shade in the water, and the streams in Skyrim shouldn't look irradiated...

Otherwise looking good, especially considering these are probably still 360 screens.

Same - maybe a lighting spell was recently cast? The player's other hand is nowhere to be seen, possibly just out of view after using one. All in all, I do quite like the overall color in the Draugr shot though. The dungeon has a very musty look to it, kind of reminiscent of the basemants/crawlspaces in older houses that meet with bare earth or stone.

Also liking the splatters on the sword. They actually form streaks indicative of some actual kinetic movement in battle, not just nondescript splatters like in Oblivion that could have been from a major nosebleed. :P
