Some suggestions needed

Post » Tue Oct 19, 2010 6:10 am

Hello all, I have just got Oblivion working for the pc. It has been a long while since I had oblivion and need some mod advice. (before hand, I am already signed u to tes-nexus nothing else so any suggestions please make sure they can be downloaded there, thanks)

For one and mainly OOO, can this mod be added at any time or will i have to restart my game.

second, I want some vampire mods, I am not to sure what though, I would like may be something that adds clans like in morrowind or some vampire based missions. also anything that changes the mechanics of how vampires work, making them more real (I wish I could be more specific on the latter but really I would be here forever listing stuff. so what are your favorite vamp mods)

Also I would like any mods that add missions guilds quests ect of any kind really again just some of your favs.

Also any essential mods, (mods you can't live without, or good gameplay changes) added items perhaps.

Thanks in advance for the help, sorry to be so vague but been working 12hr shifts for a long time and my brain is fried :P

You can add OOO to an ongoing game. If so, do it from a save in a secluded cell - i.e. your player home, for example - and wait for a respawn. Also, use Wrye Bash to update NPC levels in that save - otherwise you'll have vanilla stats for NPCs rather than OOO's.

I wouldn't recommend adding OOO to a game with a high level PC, though, as you'd sort of miss the essence of the mod if not starting out as a weakling in a merciless world.

Generally, mods can be added at any time - but there are some exceptions.

Thanks all will get those vamp mods in a bit.

As for OOO the character I got is still level one, so no worries on adding to an uber character :P Although I just noticed stupidly that the OOO file I had in my mods folder no longer exists, I had a look for it again but see there are quite a few new versions, if any one has the time can yo point me to the latest version (or versions + patches ect whatever is needed)

Thanks all
