Some things I've recently noticedexperienced

I have been playing Skyrim a long time, about 1000 hours all up, and I'm still finding new things in the game. So I figured I might share some of the things I have noticed recently. I decided to put them all in one post instead of bring them up here and there.

WARNING: May contain minor spoilers.

Giants Club
There's a giant's club on a shelf in the Winking Skeever in Solitude. How did it get there? I'd really like to know the story behind that one.

Mining
You can manually mine ore. I don't know how I didn't figure this out earlier. Just equip a pickaxe and swing away (occasionally it doesn't seem to work). Faster? Yes. But it looks silly and doesn't fit in with role playing.

Suit of Armour
In my houses I like to dress the mannequins in Steel Plate Armour so that they look like a Skyrim version of those Suits of Armour you see in old mansions in movies. Does anyone else do this?

Fisherman
There is a hunter with a small fishing camp just down the hill from the Guardian Stones, if you keep walking past the back of the Mage Stone. I don't know how I didn't notice it the first thousand times I walked past there.

Spinning Pictures
If you use both thumbsticks (on the Xbox 360) you can spin the pictures in the loading screen around twice as fast.

Third Person View
I really, really don't know how I didn't realise this earlier, but you can zoom your view in and out in third person view by pushing the button on the right thumbstick (on the Xbox 360) and using the left thumbstick to zoom in and out. I actually figured this out a couple of months ago, but that is still a lot of playing, and much of it in third person, without realising it.

Invisible Attacker
I recently got attacked by an invisible Khajiit. I couldn't see him at all. My cursor said 'Khajiit' when it was aimed on him and I used the red dot on the compass as my guide when shooting him with my bow. Throughout the battle still couldn't see him or his weapons. When he died there was no body, but he did drop his weapons which then became visible. He had an Iron War Axe and Steel War Axe.

Noisy Taverns
If you listen carefully when standing outside the door of a tavern, such as The Bannered Mare and The Winking Skeever, you can hear the murmur of people talking inside. Too bad it's not the same when you actually get inside.
