Some things I would like to see patched

1. The UI for PC users. I'm not going to make a detailed post on why the current setup for keyboard and mouse is almost unplayable, but I will make some suggestions.

  • Allow players to bind all actions to whatever key they choose.
  • Unlink the build mode toggle from the POV toggle. Seriously with mouse and keyboard we don't need this command. Instead we should just press the key once and get the workshop instead of having to hold down the key.
  • Next look at the current building games on Steam and how they do the building UI and change your workshop UI to emulate this. For instance on Space engineers when you hit the build key you get a screen with all of the blocks displayed and u can move your mouse over to select the block you want. Then you exit out of the build mode and place the block. Also you can click on tabs to narrow down your block choices. I would personally like to see something like this, because as it stands now you can't move around with mouse and keyboard and place a block since the arrow keys just cycle through blocks instead of moving. So switch to a system where you enter build mode to pick the block, then exit build mode to place the block.

2. Lastly please get rid of the stinking grass whenever I place a floor or foundation tile. This annoys me to no end, when I see grass poking up through a wooden floor.
