Some unknown Inventory Item

Post » Sat Feb 19, 2011 3:00 am

Hi,

although I usually read all readme's, I may have missed one. I found in my "MISC" Inventory an Item called "". It does not have any value, but it weights 20 units (pretty much). I cannot remove it from my inventory. Does anybod recognize this item.
This is my current mod list.

Does anybod recognize this item.

In FWE your ammo has weight, that is shown in the item. Drop some ammo and you will see that the weight of your will also be reduced. It's not an item itself. It's just there to let you check the weight of all the ammo you carry.

Thank You, that explains it. ....

This is exactly why we need something like FormID finder for Fallout, for those times you have a item but don't know what it's from.
If it weren't OBSE scripting, I'd try(and likely fail) to convert it.
Or RefScope. Neither need extra plugins beyond OBSE, what's stopping them from being converted?

I don't believe FOSE has the necessary functions.

This is exactly why I asked for it in http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1118168-formid-finder/ thread...

hmmm um.

can't you do this?

step 1: to make your life easier, drop most of your junk on the ground, being sure to retain the item in question.

step 2: go into console, type:

prid 00000014
inv

step 3: look through the list. The number I think you need will be there, with the item?

Doesn't help when taking a look at things for sale or out in the open. Which is why a working RefScope equivalent would be godly.

Wouldn't the 'gbo' console command work? The first two digits would refer to the mod in the load-list order, and the rest would be the ID you need, correct?

What's wrong with "inv" on the player? Shows names and ID.
