Are you guys talking about Two Worlds, or Two Worlds II ?

I don't know about Two Worlds II ( I have not played it yet), but Two Worlds I enjoyed it even if it was not the greatest game.

Other than the frame rate issues (that are only extremely bad in one area), everything else you said is straight-up disinformation. The graphics set the brooding atmosphere perfectly, the gameplay is precise and responsive with zero input lag (when playing offline, otherwise may depend on your connection), the story is minimalist - as the game is more about the adventure than dialogue trees - which is fine with me, and the enemy respawns and difficulty are punishing but fair, as they should be.

I love games with a thick atmosphere and deep, rewarding gameplay, so I love Dark Souls, but what I enjoy the most is the feeling of a world in which real danger lurks in waiting for the unwary adventurer - in which you can wander into an area that you are totally unprepared for - because the world exists for its own sake, rather than being tailored (or level-scaled) to you, the player. I don't want to feel like I'm in a contrived, fake world in which everything revolves around me.

I only hope Skyrim features some of that same sense of danger.

I don't really see how that's possible. I can imagine being disappointed in how specific features were implemented, but I can't think of anything with the potential to make the game unfixably bad.

Lol idk where you got half of that, graphics are great to me, even though I don't care about graphics lol, enemies respawn is awesome, story was great IMO but you probably don't like Demon's Souls story so you wouldn't like Dark Soul's. Lol or a TES really devoted fan either way works. Lol also to answer the question, I would go "LOOOOOOLLLLLZZZZ" because I already think this is the worst TES, no matter all the good things they put in, the negatives outweigh the positives. Dark Souls FTW! Best action RPG I have played since PSO.

Edit: repost sorry >.<

it was an alright world, just a terrible engine, and voice acting, and sneak mechanic.

Ok so this is never going to happen, but say the game was released and for whatever reason (game-breaking bugs all over the place, gameplay nothing like the demo etc.) the game is terrible and worse than all previous Elder Scrolls games, how will you react and deal with it?

I would write a civilized review detailing the issues. Then I would never pre-order a TES game again, and rent them first.

It's a love/hate relationship with Oblivion. I tried to pick it up recently in the middle of the Shivering Isles expansion and was put off by the fact that it takes like 70 hacks from my gangster enchanted blade to kill one freaking unarmored lizard/frog guy (forget what they're called at the moment). The scaling is sooooo ridiculous. And yes, I know there's the difficulty slider, but still. The game is downright near broken when you're higher level.

Oh. I rarely play sneaky characters excepted in game like Deus Ex HR, where I often end up being detected and finally kill/knock out everyone around like I should better have done in the first place :P
I don't remember the engine being terrible but well it was years ago. I may have forgotten.

You mean if it svcks like Rage? I would do just the same as I did with that game, I won't buy it.

That's the reason why I never pre-order a game.

Yeah, same with MW from my POV. Not a good step from daggerfall. I thought it was fixed with OB  so it's all good.

My best friend and I would look at each-other, become sobered due to sorrow, and become angry.

Perhaps.

But you're completely right, that'll never happen...

If it were really horrible I'd probably spend some time in denial, probably play it at least 50 hours and then I'd finally give up and probably never touch it again and furthermore hate it forever. That is roughly what happened with DA2 at least...

Make multiple threads ranting and insulting everyone and anything just because of some useless desire to be heard even if they sound insane...entitled?...overbearing..

Really just sleep and eat some food... While I wait for X Rebirth

Same way I reacted to Oblivion being terrible: sighed, modded it to death to make it playable and set about waiting for the next TES game, hoping it'd be better.

Oblivion was brilliant. Shame on you.
