Something about stolen objetcts...

I was reading a thread, a couple minutes ago, and started thinking "Can I make certain NPC's hate each other?"
Then, I thought about how you could steal the goblin totems in Oblivion and put them in other Goblin caves, and how they would duke it out for the totem.

Which got me wondering, "What will happen if I steal something, and then proceed to place it in another's house? If the NPC I stole from found out it was in someone else's house, would he hold a grudge? Could I eventually get NPC's to kill each other?"

I think I'd like to see something like this in Skyrim.
Thoughts?

EDIT: I spelled the title wrong, and it was misleading. Could it be renamed to 'Can we manipulate NPC's?' instead. If a mod sees this, thanks.

I don't think this would be possible. Not that I wouldn't want it in, just seems a bit too advanced for Beth at this point. I'm sure a lot of hard work would need to go into making it function, and I don't think they are willing to do that with this game.(implementing this feature, not hard work in general :))

I'd like to see specific quests do this though. This is like that quest in oblivion were you have to murder the two heads of families and frame each side, then they fight it out in the street. I'd like to see a more advanced version of that quest, framing people and we are the puppet masters, making them fall into our plan.

I could imagne taking everything everyone owned, putting it in a priests home, then proceed to watch the town mob up the priest lol

I hail the old gods, Hermaeus Mora mainly and even though this was an act Sanguine I still think Mora would chuckle at the thought, then again he probably knew that it already happened so he had already laughed I bet.

I just want to be able manipulate the NPC's to do my bidding :D
it won't probably be in the game, but I'll figure out how to mod it in :P

At first I was like... 'I don't think this would work', but when you think about it, it wouldn't take that much, just some simple generic scripting. However, I'm not sure if an NPCs ownership of a cell (aka their house) is programmed that way, I think they're just scheduled to go there at certain times of the day.
