I only collect unique items.

Evil gnome, the acoustic guitar (not the Lonesome Drifter's), the Bible....

Mutilated body parts. I haven't found any, besides the ones at the Rep Cntr. A Brammin Skull, you can actually add to your inventory. Forget where...I think OL Gibson. 8 Balls. The Dead Man's Hand, only cards you can drop. Look cool placed on a table w / a Super Heated Cosmic Knife, balanced on the tip, sticking in them. And a gold bar, plus various monies, laying on the side.

Mutilated body parts can be found in Lake Mead by the sunken ship. Brahmin skulls can be found in the Gamorrah kitchen 2 small ones I think. Also has an oversized knife.

Me, I collect everything. If it can be bought, stolen, found or earned I'll take it!

i gave all the clipboards i had to the chute as well. but there is one wierd item i usually grab out of sillyness. Coyote Tobacco Chew... i like to think of it as, Wild Coyote Weed. i have allot drying out on the garden shelfs in the sink. Call me a Wasteland Stoner but, i always place some coyote weed on a table next to a Turbo (looks like a waterpipe) i like to put the pair of items in my Player Homes where i can sit and relax, mabee plan the next quest. brahmin skulls are cool too. :goodjob:

For some reason I don't really collect anything. Until just recently did I think "oh I can just get stuff I like and drop them and decorate my safehouse". So I'm getting rocket and dinky souvenirs

Let's see...

Pre-war books. Lining them up on my shelves in the BoS bunker is a great time waster. I take all of the damaged books, process those seditious items then sell the resulting blank books to the Followers at the Clinic

Named Weapons. Got them displayed wherever I can place them...need gun racks in the BoS bunker.

Let me put it this way: all of my characters take the Pack Rat perk for a reason. :celebration:

Basically, if it's not nailed down I cart it off, and if I could take the nailed-down stuff too I would. Coming up with things to spend the more valuable items on is becoming a hassle, though, since I don't sell for caps anymore.

Ammo, and every weapon i find. And sometimes i take all my weapons out of the cabinet, and reapir them all with eachother. I like to have a cabinet filled with hundreds of fully repaired weapons, if the legionary assassins should show up (agian) :ninja:

In Fallout 3 I tried collecting billiard balls until I discovered there is not a full set in the GECK.
I have not collected anything other than stuff you can use in New Vegas.

Anything useable, ESPECIALLY when it's used for crafting.

OWB really stressed me when I started realizing it had more scrap metal in it than all of New Vegas combined.

Gold bars are all that I 'collect'. I pick up only useful stuff otherwise.
