I'm been trying to register on fallout3nexus.com for about a week now. It takes my register screen but doesn't send an email with a turnon link to the email address I registered with. Also get errors that present me with a email sender screen, which I have filled out, and have heard nothing from them. Without registering I can't get any of their larger mods. Anybody else having this problem? Has the site been abandoned?
No the site has not been abandoned. They have however recently recovered from their sight being invaded with a virus, but that has been resolved. Not sure whether or not that's related to your problem. try re registering, and double check your info that you are giving to make sure it is accurate.

Did you check your mailbox spam folder for the activation e-mail?
Did you check your mailbox spam folder for the activation e-mail?
Yes, I did. Nothing there. I tried again and waited for about 20 minutes. Still no soap. I just newly registered with this forum about an hour ago and got the activation email without a problem. Has anyone else recently registered with nexus?
Some mail ISP's have blacklisted the Nexus servers from recieving emails altogether. You need to petition to your ISP to allow emails from the Nexus servers or you need to setup an email account on a free mail client like GMail or Hotmail. Pain in the ass, I know. I have no idea why these nitwits blacklist the servers.
I tried the signon process with a computer in my public library but still using my comcast email account. still no go. I'll be trying my gmail account next.
Oh this is so stupid, its just like me. The Nexus registration gives you two options concerning email when you register. One is for receiving email l from other members (which I un checked) and the other is for receiving emails from the administrators (which I also un checked) I did not realize that that last option also covered getting the authorization link email from the administrators. I rechecked it and finally got the authorization link email. Now I'm in.
Thank you all for being kind to a nitwit. I'm sorry I wasted everybody's time. Moderators, feel free to delete this thread, as I don't wish its title to imply that something's still wrong with Nexus.
