Before I say anything else this is nothing more than an idea. It will not interfere in what I am doing with SCAR and Armageddon. Even if I had time to work on it now it take at least a month before I was ready to run it. I don't know if it's been done before and I want to know what you guys would think of this as an idea for an RP. Okay, here goes.

A small group of characters is involved in an accident of some kind which causes them to randomly jump through time. Each time they jump it lands them in a different war. I.E The war of 1812, The Tojan War, etc. It will also cause them to jump into future wars sometimes. Now I say a smalll group because you could have them pick up new charcters from different times thus allowing people to join later on.

So that's it. Like I said, just an idea. Tell me what you think. Thoughts, criticisms, suggestions or anything else.

I think it's a cool idea. But it might be better as a TES RP, unless there are more "modern" wars than others. But, something cool would be watching the nukes dropped during the Great War, and only jumping through time seconds before getting hit by ones shock wave

Hmm could this idea have sprouted from a movie by the name of "Time Bandits"? If so, I like it completely. And if not, I still like it a lot, and would be interesting to see where it could go. But I say wait. For obvious reasons of course, that I know your well aware of... maybe?

I wouldn't probably have more than one ancient war(thinking the crusades). Thinking like 1800's and later, and of course the Great War.

@Strangelove; Yea Time bandits would be part of the inspiration. Also the TV show Sliders kinda is too(thought in that they go to parallel universes and that would be just silly). And believe me I am perfectly aware of my other reasons. I am at my limit right now, and this will require a lot of research. And I don't have time for that.

That sounds like a great idea, I'd definately join. It reminds me of the game, 'Darkest of Days'.

I'd join it, it sounds like it would be good. All the different types of warfare makes me giddy.

Yeah, sounds pretty cool, lets gun this Rp to 88, where we're going, we don't need roads.

What do you think of the idea that it starts wtih a small amount of charcters and could expand over time with characters coming in from the different timelines?

that sounds good, but with all the time jumping and people living in different time zones in RL; it might be a little hard to keep upwith for some

I'd join if I could roll as some sort of feudal knight who joins the group at some point during the time jumps. I think the war between Cassius n Brutus n their supporters vs those other guys n their supporters *I couldn't name them from memory* would be a cool battle to jump to. Perhaps we turn the tide, and instead of killing himself, Brutus comes out as victor.

I like most of what you do, so im in when it comes up. as a suggestion, maybe the travelers should not be able to take anything, even clothing or armor, with them. That would make it so noone would have kevlar in a gunpouder war, or mow down troops in WW2 with a minigun.
