In one of the videos about the 'the sounds of Skyrim' he showed the animation of this round spherical robot thing that unfolded itself you had back in morrowind (if i remember correctly). I'm pretty sure you used to find these things in old Dwemer caverns. So i'f i remember those parts correctly then i'm pretty sure we'll be see'ing Dwemer dungeons again.
That's a centurion sphere, and yes, they were in Morrowind as well, and it looks reletively close to Morrowind's version, albeit the way it folds out looks considerably more complicated than the way in Morrowind.
But while it was known that Dwemer ruins and centurions would be in Skyrim, the only screenshot that I've seen that is generally assumed to depict a Dwemer ruin looks fairly different from the ones in Morrowind, which doesn't really bother me because no one said that just because it's made by the same race, all Dwemer architecture across Tamriel must look identicle. Architectural styles may very depending on a number of factors, even when the styles are all made by the same race, just look at the architectural variety in Morrowind, where across the island, you see many dramatically different types of architecture, all made by Dunmer, just from different factors. When complaining about the different looking Dwemer architecture, fans also seem to forget that even the Dwemer ruin in Tribunal looked very different from the ones on Vvardenfell, if a Dwemer ruin in the same province, just on the main land, can look so different from the ones on an island seperated by a reletively small, in lore terms, sea, it's hardly inconceivable that ruins in a different province with a very different climate from Vvardenfell could look a little different from the ones we're used to, but what am I thinking? Logic is for stupid people, if the Dwemer ruins in Skyrim look even slightly different from the ones in Morrowind, then Bethesda is ruining everything! The Elder Scrolls is RUINED FOREVER!
But back to the point, the screenshot described does sound like it bears some resemblance to Morrowind's Dwemer ruins, if so, than that's interesting, sounds like it's different from Morrowind, but still close enough that I could look at it and guess that it's made by the same race, and I want to see more things like that in a series. Rather than just changing things entirely or keeping them exactly the same as before.
