Something might be a problem

In fallout 3 when weapons leave your inventory (on the console) it goes off the hotkey you had it on. When you enter a casino and they take your weapons i hope it resets your hotkeys when you get it back or it would be really anoying to put them back on you hotkeys. :brokencomputer:

Nah, they don't want their guards getting stabbed with hot keys, either. *rim shot*

Hmm, such an annoyance is enough to massacre each casino.

I almost never used Hot-keys on the console,. because of my horrible Oblivion experience.
Oblivion's console hot-keys were almost mandatory, and almost unusable.

That would be a great "holdout" weapon :toughninja:

I used every hotkey avaliable in fallout 3 and oblivion, and i didn't see any problems with them.

So you only stick to one weapon? That was fine in Oblivion, but in F3...

Now pipboying each weapon is even worse.

Compared to games that have weapon wheels like GTA and Saints Row
(and most games alike) the hotkeys can feel kind of cramped to me .-.

Same here. The only problem I had was with the 360 digital pad being so damned inaccurate. To remedy that I just put things like frag grenades and land minds on the diagonal keys.

in what way, they were the same in FO3 except for the fact that you had magic you could assign for them. which was a much relief to pressing b then switching to the magic menu to change spells.

It was way too much of a pain to go to your your pip-boy every time you wanted to switch weapons, more of an immersion breaker that most other things. Hotkeys were a must even if they sometimes took a little long to switch, it added to the realism because in a real fight you can't say "Hold on, let me get my shotgun out before you start punching me in the face..Ahhhh, thats better ' BOOM, BOOM...SPLAT' "

*Shrug* to be honest, the only time I hotkey anything was the sniper rifle. And even then, I seldom need to press the key, so the reseting the hotkey is no biggie to me.

I only hotkeyed usable items (stimpaks, radaway, rad-x etc).

I did get kind of annoying though having to re-hotkey them.
