Something's not right....

Something is wrong with my game. I have a strength of 143, a blade skill of 108, running kuertee's Attribute and Skill Damage Multipliers, and I'm getting 10 - 15 damage per attack. I'll hit 20 every once in a while. Fights take forever. I can't stand being in a fight for 10 minutes. It's okay in the beginning, but as time goes on, I should be more powerful. Hey Malonn,
Can you try your game without Attribute and Skill Damage Multipliers active?
I never got to test that mod with attributes and skills more than 100.
(I did test that mod by playing as a Warrior, Archer and Mage. Each about 6 months of game-time.)

I guess I could. But I've looked at that mods' guts and it only applies a multiplier when your skill level hits 100. I've modified it to have benefits for skill levels 125, 150, 175 and 200. I could try disabling it though. But I'm not very far into this play-through, so I think I'm going to start over and see if it's a bug.

Yes. It is set at the game default of 50%.

Hmmm...I can only see 3 mods that may affect damage:
Attributes and Skills Damage Modifiers (A&S Dmg Mods)
Realistic Health
Deadly Reflex

I've not used Deadly Reflex, so I'm not sure what it does damage-wise.
I use A&S Dmg Mods and Realisitc Health in my game - so I know that they are compatible.
I know that with Realisitc Health, damage is less effective with less health.
When A&S Dmg Mods and RH are combined, the combatant with less skill, when their health is damaged, will need to hit their opponent more times against the more effective hits of their more skillful opponent.
(But combat against more skillful opponents do not last longer than 3 or 4 hits from them.)
But then again, I've not played the game with more than 100 in Attributes or Skill.

Leaving my A&S Dmg Mod active, deactivate the other combat mods and see which combination returns damage levels you expected.

Realistic Health and Deadly Reflex you say? I'll look at DR in TES4Edit. I don't think it effects damage unless you use one of the optional timed blocking ESP's.

Even amidst those two, I have been using them for quite a while (DR 6 is still pretty new, but my last character used it with no issues), and have not had a problem with damage not being what it should be.

Thanks for the reply, but I shouldn't need any new mods. What I'm running worked fine in the past. The problem, I think, isn't in mods, rather in the vanilla calculations.
