Something I noticed in the demo.

Yes another one.

We the player calls the storm call on top the tower, we then runs back under cover but rain still falls through the roof

Does this mean it glitches or can storm calls be used under ground?

I think it has been said that the same problem was in oblivion and that it probably won't be fixed

Just pretend it's a leaky roof.

Stormcall underground? Sounds like a spell failure to me.

1. Type rain in the search bar
2. Press enter
3. There is no 3...

Been discussed before, even in one of the hands-on articles it said that regular rain also did this and not just the shout.

Op you knew this was in heavy debate, you made this thread on purpose just to get the community riled up again.

instead of people complaining about something that is likely from an old build of the game... why dont people just tweet pete and ask him if that raining-through-shelter problem is still there, or if its been fixed?

Skyrims Creation Engine should be the engine which fixes this rain-through-roofs problem once and for all

(Bungie could do it ten years ago with Halo: Combat Evolved)

i supose the only time this will really bother me is if i cast the "shout" in a cave and itmakes a storm in the cave ... lol
kinda funy actually
we have become used to it raining thru surfaces in oblivion and in morrowind .. so in a way its actually become a thing we might not bother us .. simply cause we are used to it from the other games
its ok with me that it rains thru surfaces ... mayb they are forced to for a specific reason?? idk

Sigh.

Didn't Todd say something about 'dynamic weather' where the snow falls realisticly on the ground, and doesn't fall in areas that are obstructed?

Wouldn't that also apply to rain as well?

Sigh. I'm tired of these threads. -.-

I honestly don't care about rain physics, unless they're absolutely horrendous, I never notice them.
