*ahem*
*aarrrgggle.., Shhnnggggghhh..... GA'ak!*
*Gaaaaaaaahhhh......, Chggooohh...*
*flooey*
*Splatt*
:D
..and so the two rode off into the radiated sunset of the wastelands to be married.

And then there was the Honeymoon..

Having noticed the Flying Dutchman out in the Chesapeake bay -just like everyone else it seemed, the BoS were interested in getting closer to the technology that ran the ship (as well as getting closer to the pirates and their aircraft carrier) The parents of Puffy were astounded at the bravery of her rescuer and made him a BoS paladin on the spot. PA training waited until after the weekend -they were newly weds, after all. The parents of Puffy saw an opportunity to catch two deathclaws at once so to speak, they sent an emissary to the ship and received a welcome to have a few BoS troopers on board as representatives.
So Puffy and her newly wed Hubby (that's his name: Hub Toobee :D ) as well as two other troopers found themselves stationed on the Flying Dutchman until re-leaved of duty. This way the BoS had a presence in an established settlement with active technology, and there daughter was in relative safety, protected by not only three troopers (Hubby included) but also by the safety of the entire ship.
Unfortunately, as here husband soon found out in their marriage, Puffy Puppy tends to not like being safe..
Puffy Puppy insisted that they wouldn't be housed in the Chryslus building on board and reside in the Empire and the State Buildings, even though the Chryslus building is considered to be the grandest of the structures on board, and she personally refuses to enter the building, siting that it reminds her of a nasty experience in her life....
Although the BoS troopers and Puffy are treated with every respect by everyone on the upper decks and the citizenship in general, they are regarded with suspicion by those who live on the lower decks and those who's business dealings prefer the shadows, who claim they were brought on board as muscle for the ship Port Authority taxation squads..
The other two troopers are hand picked by Puffy herself, which at this moment is classified -meaning I don't know.

My wedding gift to you both; an eternal honeymoon cruise on board of a post apocalyptic freighter/cruise ship
Andy

True. You guys should add a "No" option, as it would seem a bit silly if we had something like this:

Will you marry me?

QUOTE PUFFY PUPPY lost dragon, who is Gstaff? and thanks for the ideas, i don't even know if gamesas will be there this year, but i can only hope, and then hope that they would have a computer set up for a quick QUESTION on sunday of comic con. that would be awesome. but also very crazy because i would never be able to make it, well, i would do it, but i would be sick with anxiety for DAYS lol.

Gstaff is a mod, and a VERY VERY POWERFUL ONE on this forum - rumoured to have the ear of high powers that be. Approach him humbly and he might be able to arrange something beforehand!

BTW, ole Andy, here's some throat pastilles for you.

Thanks Dee, it was kinda chunky :/

@ Puffy Puppy
It would not bode well to start a PM with:

Yo Gee, s'up, niggah, dis here is off the Chi-zang."

This, would be bad.
you could threaten to start a rumor that ID and Bethesda have merged. :D
Hmm, no.., nope. Blackmail won't do. Not unless you can get creative with photoshop and some barnyard pictures... :hubbahubba:

ok, just for the record:

Do not do any of the things I have just advised, and otherwise please reread my disclaimer(*) :D

(*) I knew it would come in handy before this was over

 Acolyte knew it would come in handy even before Bossman did, knowing Bossman..

wow andy, i am sure that i speak for the both of us when i say that the cruise sounds spectacular ;) :D thank you very much ! Thank you, also for the words that come after our riding into the radiated sunset LOL. i love it! (must save, one sec! ok saved.)

when you guys talked about Gstaff, i thought it was short-hand for "under cover comic con staff" or something, like M.I.B. of staffing lol. Well, he may be, just that. :) So, maybe when the time comes.. and the mod is a-tickin' and we are all wooed by it, I shall strike up a "hello" and ask for some advice for a lovely sunday in the month of july and beg for bethesda to go to comic con lol. But I don't know, andy, i really liked that whole "chi-ZANG" line. haha

i am very excited. my, my my. :) i just realized that it's almost July, also! That means that our anniversary (2 yr) and our nerdy vacation are approaching! eee!

OOOOHHH OH OH OH OH!! you have to see what i got as a fortune when he and i got chinese food this weekend..WOOWOW. :D let me link you..

There is only one restaurant in Amsterdam that does chinese fortune cookies. They come packaged in plastic and it says "made in Orange County, Calf. USA" :D

Yeah, go figure...

I'm glad you like the NPCs for the Flying Dutchman. I was mulling over the dynamic links between the different groups and factions in the add on, and D.Foxy's background just sorta fit..
Besides, I like the idea of a BoS representative who is cute and can't seem to stay outta trouble, with her husband (basically a boot BoS recruit) all worried and constantly looking for her :hehe:

[Hub]"Have you seen my wife anywhere on board recently?"
[Character]"Err, no. Why?"
[Hub]"She said she was going down to the docks area to check on a piece of strange salvage that came in with one of the salvage crews"
[Character]"So? Sounds straight forward enough"
[Hub]"She went alone, and that was yesterday.. Would you be able to help?"

Yup. Lots of quest ties in floating around you

And if you do the CHI-zang line to Gstaff, I'm taking the fifth and hiding behind my disclaimer for a year (pulls the wuss card)

whoa whoa whoa, were you serious? lol. me/him/us thingsss for your dutchman? whaaaa???? lol. no way. you're juuust puuullllliinnnng MAH CHain. lol

another thing...i do run off LOL. he made a joke that i should wear a bell around my neck. sometimes i hide too, just for fun. especially while drunk. i hide in closets, under counters, in cubbies in dark hotel rooms lol, under tables, other ppls beds. i always get calls on my cell from the same house asking where i am. last 4th of july i was 007-ing around his house and 5 ppl were looking for me, worried that i was getting hit by a car, they were in the streets calling my name lol. i was giggling in the bushes LOL. i felt bad, but...it was funny. one girl said "plz don't kill us...you're a ninja."

and as far as salvage, i always find things and dart for them lol. so it's crazy that you say those things hahahah. :D

and i collect fortunes, that's another reason why this one is so important to me. i have HUNDREDS of them in a box and i have never seen one like this in my life. :) i love them lol.

Yes, and no problem. This is how a story get written, ..in my book anyway. And yeah, you seemed to fit that bill.

another thing...i do run off LOL. he made a joke that i should wear a bell around my neck. sometimes i hide too, just for fun. especially while drunk. i hide in closets, under counters, in cubbies in dark hotel rooms lol, under tables, other ppls beds. i always get calls on my cell from the same house asking where i am. last 4th of july i was 007-ing around his house and 5 ppl were looking for me, worried that i was getting hit by a car, they were in the streets calling my name lol. i was giggling in the bushes LOL. i felt bad, but...it was funny. one girl said "plz don't kill us...you're a ninja."

You and my son both, except he actually thinks he's a kung-fu ninja (I know, I know.. I've tried explaining the flaw in that logic but to him all injas are "kung fu")
Of course, you might actually be one for all I know :D

I'm just toying with the idea of a cowbell around his neck -or a leash... or a lowjack... something though.. I'm just glad I'm on a freakin island...
at least Acky comes when I call him.. usually.. unless he's more happy rolling in something disgusting; always fun.

Anyway, back on a topic, if not this one :hehe:
D.Foxy's slant on your being daughter-of-BoS sparked the idea. The ship has a higher than average amount of working robots and a super computer on board, and they are interested in getting closer to the pirates cache of technology that they're obviously hoarding on board the carrier.. so it just fell into place. The quest tie ins are a logical step. And will make for some humorous aspects as well..

WARNING D.FOXY TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CONTENTS Of HIS IMAGINATION WHICH IS NOT UNDER HIS CONTROL

The Battle...

Our brave Pal Alladin ...oops...er... Paladin, having heard the distress call on the radio, is intrigued enough to go searching for the origin of the distress call.

He has Dogmeat with him...and therein lies a PRA-OB-BEE-LUM....

Dogmeat for some reason seems more gung ho than usual, and is tearing off in the direction of a strange building which the Paladingdong somehow thinks wasn't there before - he's almost sure that he passed this way some time ago and there was nothing there...

Telling Dogmeat to wait while he scouts out the building (Dogmeat seems to be whining more than usual, and there was a strange growl when he was told to stay - but Pal Lad Dong will worry about that later) our hero sneaks to the entrance where he hears this conversation.

"And Ah'm a-telling ya that NO ONE DOES THAT TO THA ROACH KING! No Sirreee! Why there I was with all my Roaches trained and kowtowing t'me jess a fine an' dandy, and thet LIL' BEECH JES' a TAKES THEM ROACHES outta mah HANDS! SHEEZA Witch DAT What shee izz!!! Ah wan her TAKEN CARE OF, Then mah roaches will cumm'n back to Pappy an' we'll be as dandy as we were before that doggone dingbat gurl a'witchem!!!"

"Hold it ole man - we got orders. Boss says she knows something, something really valuable, and till she tells us we gotta keep her alive till she talks!"

Not quite understanding what he's hearing, PlayADDin sneaks around to the back door. As he goes in an uproar breaks out.

"SEE WHADDYAH TELLYA!!!"

"SHUT UP and KILL those DAMNED ROACHES!"

"HEY! NOT MY ROACHES YA DUMM EXES!!!"

This seems to be Roach Roast day, as Raiders run around shooting flamethowers at roaches.

Our Zero ( oops again ) Hero runs around grenading, shotgunning, cutting, and otherwise doing hero stuff till all the Raiders are Ravaged, Radroaches are ruined, Roach King is a poached thing, and in other words all the bad guys and worse girls have well and truly kicked the bucket all the way to Nantucket.

He sees a girl all alone in a cage, trembling.

At this point he is bowled over by Dogmeat who has broken orders and has charged in. Dogmeat runs to the cage and is being petted by the girl, and he is panting so much it's disgusting.

He opens the cage, glaring the "I'll deal with YOU later, rulebreaker!" look at Dogmeat who seems strangely unaffected.

The girl looks at him, and speaks.

"Will you marry me???"

He hesitates, and that is when Dogmeat bites him in a place which if I reveal I shall be instantly banned for life by the Mods here.

"AAAH OOOOO!!!!"

"OhhhhHHHH!!! You said 'I DO!!! How Romantic!"

" OW OW OW!!!"

"How? Oh that's easy, the preacher in Rivet City will marry us!"

"Ah...well...uh..."

Dogmeat GROWLS.

"Yes! Yes, yes, let's get married!!!"

HERE ENDETH ROMANTIC STORY.

Progress update for the day.

I`ve taken the great building Old_Andy built from the interior he built it in and moved it to the Wasteland. I had to create 35 lod tga files! Not too sure why it needed so many, probably because I didnt have any to start with.

Anyways, a here`s a few pics, mostly for Andy to enjoy since he made the building.

Acky is learning the subtle social skills of knowing when to shut up :)

You may also read that as: sometimes I don't know what to let him say -he was just licking his [guess what] a minute ago, and that doesn't induce creative conversation much

and yes....dogs get crazy with their parts. in day camp, i am constantly breaking up the mounting dogs. sometimes 3 males lined up right behind each other, on their hind legs, trailing around. sometimes 2 males standing up, and each has the other's "piece" in their mouths. sometimes females or males will put thier "zones" in another dogs face and wait, if nothing happens, they start to mount the face. sometimes i get humped by dogs in front of customers who are watching lol. one dog pooped full flowers. Green stems with leaves and purple blooms. It is an entertaining job. lol.
