Something to pass the time until skyrim

If you're waiting skyrim impatiently as I am, there's a really good rpg that would entertain until its released and it's two worlds 2. look at these vid to judge it by yourself:

Played it.

It's reasonably fun, but far from great. Certainly not in the same league as TES, or even near.

No. Its not worth the money. And I'm one of those who gave it a chance. Oh no, I didn't buy it. I just rented it. But it was so bad I sent it back within a day.

Ewww! i have that game on the 360 and seems a half done game , the main character voice and dialogue is the worst thing i have seen in gaming. I played the 1st one too and that was an abomination, for me both are an abomination :meh:

EDIT: i am talking about Two Lolz 1 and 2 just in case :P

i acctualy enjoyed the crap outta two worlds 2 no where near tes but in its own right its decent, the two worlds franchise is deffinantly getting better every installment.
i imagine that by two worlds 9 or ten it will be top notch.

biggest drawback was the fact that enimies never ever respawn so you run out of ways to get xp, but it was fun for a few days

I bought the first one at a Flea Market for 10 bucks.. Still feel like I got ripped off. Haven't even thought about playing the second one. I picked up Red Dead Redemption, and am working on that here and there, around the time I'm putting into replaying Morrowind and Oblivion again.

I bought Two Worlds 2 in the Steam sale after enjoying the pants off Two Worlds 1. It's an incredible, bottomless pit of disappointment. The camera is shaky, too close to the character, at a funny angle, and keeps resetting its angle when I move it away; The UI is horrible console crap, with icons that span an eighth of my screen height; the combat is press-to-win; and the whole thing is just fail. Classic console-to-PC port, with all the downfalls that entails. A real step backwards from Two Worlds 1.

Personally, I'd recommend Divinity 2, which was also on sale from Steam (and may still be on sale yet).

Looting svcks, therefore, game svcks. Also, the terrible controls, sound, graphics, writing, etc.

I keep myself busy with New Vegas :celebration:

Also I modded the heck out of Oblivion, and it was worth it, so why not give it a try. Something to do while waiting for Skyrim :D

TW2 can be considered good in the way that any game that can be considered good: Lower your standards dramatically. That was the only way that I was able to play the first two worlds for more than an hour.

Honestly, there are games that have come out within the last 5-10 years which are worth way more time and money than the Two Worlds series. Heck, if you have a PC, just get Oblivion and download five things

1. FCOM and all of the mods that the FCOM devs recommend on their site
2. All of the Better Oblivion Cities mods (ZOMG)
3. Quarl's Texture Pack
4. Realistic Leveling mod
5. Tons of player created music to replace the Vanilla music (tons of great music packs on Planet Elder Scrolls)

If you do this, you will have more than enough adventuring to do before Skyrim comes out. This is Oblivion on steroids. Just get ready to bring your PC to its knees, though. From the beating that it will take, you may need a new one by the time Skyrim comes out, lol.

Two Worlds and TW2 were just bad. Too many convoluted game mechanics, horrible scenery pop in and worst of all it was claiming to be an open world but not delivering. The rest of the industry needs to concede to the fact that Bethesda redefined what an open world is and stop calling their games OW until they can match Beth's OW model.

I just bought LA Noire

That is probably the most interesting game to come out since Morrowind ruined me for all other games in 2002. I'd be interested in buying and playing it if they released an expansion pack that introduced some side activities.

I've only played the first Two Worlds, and let me tell you, it was ungodly awful.... After that experience, it'd take a lot of convincing to even get me to go near another Two Worlds game.....

I've simply rebooted my old Diablo 2 character and began a fresh Alchemist on Torchlight to pass the time. And if that gets dull, I've Titan Quest and Puzzle Quest 1+2, and Fallout 3/NewVegas/Morrowind/Oblivion for my open-world itch...

I'll second that recommendation. BE WARNED though, it's a first person only game. Before playing it i was a 3rd person only gamer and after 70hrs in that game i became a first person only gamer.

You wanna pass the time? Get The Witcher 2, if your computer can handle it that is. Best looking game I have ever played. Definitely a contender for game of the year, plus its coming out for 360.

From Dust. Then, in October, Dark Souls and Operation Raccoon City. Shortly afterward, Skyrim and Saints Row 3.

I would get Divinity 2: The Dragon Knight Saga if I were you. I've seen ads for about four different Divinity 2's so I had to be specific. In short, Divinity 2: TDKS is pretty much 2 of the 60 different Divinity 2 games put on one disc (Ego Draconis and Flames of Vengeance). Great game, nice big world, zero level scaling, good combat. The only complaints I have is for the god awful and cheesy voice acting. But with the bad voice acting comes huge variety. It sounds to me like every character has their own voice actor, this isn't true, of course, but it still sound that way.
Oh, and really badass-looking armor and weapons. :flamethrower:
I'm also going to get Sacred 2 and Risen in a couple days, which I hope prove to be great games.
And Red Dead Redemption, whether that be the Undead Nightmare edition or the original game, they are both a lot of fun.

Lol at the TW2 hate. Try playing Gothic 4, because as fun as it is, it's even worse. Playing Gothic 4 and Torchlight right now. They're both a lot of fun.
