Something similar to the companion mods in TES4?

A popular mod in TES4 was the companion mod. The bad side was that more than half of those mods were perverted and female. I think Skyrim should feature a system somewhat like that, where you can tell friends stuff to do or to come with you to have a drink at the tavern or take a stroll with them. If it could be possible in TES4 then it should definitely be possible on the hardware for Skyrim. You could ask them to fight with you or a lot of the other features that were offered in TES4 companion mods. Once again I don't mean the companions who were naked and pointless.
In TES4 I hated walking around in the wilderness alone. We need some more depth to NPC's.

They've said Skyrim will have many companions, most will just be shallow, hired-hands, but a few will be real characters you can interact with.

im hoping that they will have enough ai to play there role usefully.

like a mage cast destructive spells and support spells

a healer actually focus on support and healing spells

a sword and shield user actually take agro off of you and defend you

a archer stay away from opponents and shoot from afar and when approached at close range do something useful to get back to what he's good at ASAP.

you know? do things that they are intelligently meant to do.
