In the podcast todd said they are really happy with the way magic has been implemented and that magic has a more...and I quote..."Arcane" feel. I'm pretty sure he was referring to Zenimax's acquistion of Arkane Studios and I'm sure they helped with the system.

Whether todd was really hinting at it or not nobody else thinks its interesting he chose that word?

No. "Arcane" and "magic" have been used in the same sentence so many times in the series--and so many times in every other fantasy setting--that it's not even funny.

I hope me actually meant Arcane, as in mysterious, obscure, and known by few, because magic in OB was just known by everybody adn thats not what magick is supposed to be. Lots of people do know it, but not your average Joe

I would have preferred the word Eldritch over arcane, just because.
