This is just an idea for an interesting topic I had back in the Elder Scrolls days. But here it is the idea is that there has to be SOMTHING that annoys you about the mudding community no matter what great things have been produced. I remember my issues were the fact that the female outfits flooded the nexus while the male outfits were few and far between. Just as an example. But for Fallout I can think of ONE thing that gets me riled up. People are obsessed with realism, believability and things being plausible in a game with FRIGGEN FIRE BREATHING ANTS! to say the least of the implausible things Fallout has what Radiation and mutation and disease i saw someone saying that a Godzilla mod wouldn’t be good because "we’re looking for believability" in a game with of all things FRIGGEN FIRE BREATHING ANTS! You can't believe a large mutated lizard or something from outer space? That’s ridicules anyone want to share theirs?

I usually wouldn't post anything because I don't usually care but I did just stumble across a mod on nexus that utterly disgusted me. I don't think it has any place in fallout and is wholly inappropriate. It was called animated prostitution or something. A while back I remember a thread in the GECK forums about nudity ect in mods and people were complaining that people were going overboard and at the time I really didn't have an opinion but now I would have to agree with them.

Furry mods. six Mods. Nudity mods. Lore/Cannon disregarding Mods (Fallout specific.)

Modders that assume if it's on the nexus it's free to use without credit, and modders who are extremely demanding / unreasonable / uncooperative with allowing their work to be used.

Chainmail bikini armor became wasteland bikini armor.
This was more a problem with Oblivion than Fallout 3. At least with FO3 modding, every mod that I really wanted was made within a year of the games release (a FOOK-like overhaul, some minor lore fixes like giving FO1/FO2 style combat armor to BOS Knights/Initiates and an alternate start mod with joinable factions).

It was content ROCKSTAR had planned to use, but disabled it... It was still included with the game though and was unlocked using a mod.

The controversy was that when they had the game rated, this hidden, unaccessible, yet still available, portion of the game was not rated. Had it been accessible, the game would have earned an AO rating.

This, how ever, is 100% user made and not created by bethesda, so very little would actually happen.

Only thing I dislike is when modders publicly advertise a mod, only to shove "I'm not releasing this mod to anyone outside of my personal friends" in the face of everyone who saw them. If it's supposed to be private between friends or whatever, then only they should ever see it.

Same thing. Beth had that included in the game, and the ESRB was not made aware until it was unlocked using a mod.

I seen the mod very recently as well. I agree that its [censored] up and i wouldn't use it (cause there is fallout and there is porm and those things shouldn't be interchangeable) but i wouldn't do a whole thing protesting it and taking it away from people who might enjoy something like that (i know this isnt what your doing, im just saying ). I would use mods for nudity though because i hate the fact when i loot a male slave from the Pitt he then gets shorts and a shirt, like what the [censored] this is the wasteland where the hell did your dead corpse get those, did i miss something in the looting process or was i the one that gave you those when only 2 seconds ago i blasted your brain with no remorse. But no leaving your body with no dignity is taking it too far... /rantover. anyways I'm too lazy to search for a nudity mod, ill do it sooner or later, theres no rush.

BTW read the comments for that animated prostitution thing, some people are seriously talking about improving the mod by adding huge boners on Super Mutants and having the ability for the LW to [censored] dogmeat and [censored]. I find that kinda [censored] up, but w/e to each their own. (as long as their not [censored] their own dogs in real life)

The only thing that annoys me with mods, is when there is no readme. I delete most mods as soon as I download them and find no readme, so I don't know how to get the weapons/armor or to a hideout or whatever the mod does.
