Wow, I'm still getting comments here. Thanks to everyone for taking the time to comment!
Ok, here is my idea. I can't find a picture of the pose but if you have ever watched the Colbert Report and at the end of the intro the eagle comes right at the screen with talons extended. Now imagine that pose with a dragon instead of an eagle. I'm going to go rip the image out of some video so you know what I'm talking about. Here is a pic: http://i53.tinypic.com/i3c8kn.png
Hah, thanks for the picture. I guess it would look quite cool if there would be a cliff and a small guy standing in front of the dragon (maybe a mage casting a spell)
.I certainly think about it.
I came in here expecting it to look like a 13 year old drawing on some anime style Nord.Needless to say you surpassed my expectations 100 fold.Excellent work.
Lol, thank you. I'd probably think the same. If I wouldn't have been happy with the picture myself (which is a very hard state for me to reach), I wouldn't have posted it here. I mean, I spent almost 3 months and could have posted it after week one, but it wouldn't have been worth your time
(I hope it is now, btw).
Oh wow. Good job! That looks freakin' awesome.
Thanks
. I'm glad you like it!
My ONE critique. The hilt of the sword. A Viking/Celt style pommel would be obvious, but you may have been going for a minimalist, barbarian style, in which case I would still give it a wood/ivory grain detail, possibly a leather wrapping for grip.
Thanks for the comment! I must admit that the sword was not what I focused on in this piece. It lacks detail and might not be well thought of, looking at it afterwards. Thanks for pointing that out!
